Grieve Field

Wind River Basin

Elk Working Interest (WI) 100%. Field discovered in 1954 and has produced >30.2 MMBBLS from Muddy Sandstone reservoir. Currently one well (#9) producing. EOR development opportunity using CO₂. In January 2011, Elk signed an agreement with ExxonMobil for the supply of CO₂ and is currently working on advancing the project. Funding is currently being sought.

Ash Creek Field

Powder River Basin Wyoming

Elk Working Interest 100%. Field discovered 1952. The field is a potential water flood and chemical flood candidate.

Elk’s projects include a chemical flood EOR project at Grieve, potential well re-completions and/or new wells at Ash Creek, and possible further re-completions at Sand Draw South
