Dr Taylor has over 40 years of technical, operating and commercial experience in oil and gas exploration, production, planning and evaluation, acquisition and joint venture management with Esso, Nexus Energy, and Cambrian Oil and Gas. He is currently Chairman of Tap Oil and is a director of Xtract International and Xtract Oil (oil shale). He was a director of the South Australian Government-owned Terra Gas Trader until it was privatised. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Mr Robert Cook

Mr. Cook has over 40 years experience in the energy and petroleum industries. This has included 18 years with Esso Australia and 4 years with Ampolex in senior management positions. During his time with Esso Mr. Cook spent 11 years in the offshore and onshore production facilities in Bass Strait. Mr. Cook has been responsible for all aspects of production activities from field development design through to project execution and plant operations. In particular, Mr. Cook was responsible for production operations at the Longford plant in Victoria, during the period when crude production was in excess of 500,000 barrels per day.

Mr. Cook played a key role in the successful developments of Esso’s Perch & Dolphin wellhead platforms in Bass Strait. Whilst with Ampolex, he contributed to the final development concept for East Spar and developed the concept for the Wandoo offshore production facilities in Western Australia. He conceived the Lufeng sub-sea production facilities in the South China Sea for Ampolex which was eventually adopted by Statoil. He has also undertaken numerous worldwide prospect evaluations.

Mr Strasser is a qualified accountant with extensive experience in corporate finance and advisory services over 18 years. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at the Anzon Group. He has held senior positions with boutique investment and advisory firms in Sydney, focusing on financial management, due diligence assignments, mergers and acquisitions and private and public capital raisings. He began his career in the taxation division of Arthur Andersen and then worked in a senior management level position with Coopers & Lybrand in their Corporate Finance division.

Mr Matt Healy

Mr Healy is a construction engineer, graduating from the University of Technology in 2000 and holds a post-graduate MBA (Exec) from the Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney. During his career, Mr Healy has worked in various management and operational roles primarily working on development and project management for large and complex assets.
